A Sneak Peek at the Seagull Outfitters Facilities
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Seagull Canoe Outfitters’ facilities, here are some pictures of the different aspects of our operation. This will help you get an idea of what to expect before you come and what we have to offer, and will make you more comfortable when you get here.
The photo above shows the front of our store/office. This is where all customers check in and can purchase various souvenirs, food, gifts, and necessities. Our friendly staff is on hand to greet you seven days a week.
Here’s where you can find that perfect memento of your trip. We carry a wide variety of special gifts, as well as postcards, books, specialty foods like syrup and jam, sweatshirts and t-shirts. Many of our gift items are locally made, so will be a very special remembrance of your trip.
This building is also where you will check in when you arrive, and where you can buy all the items you’ll need during your visit. We carry ice, sunscreen, bug repellent, snacks, beverages, bait, sunglasses, maps, fishing tackle and almost anything you may have forgotten to bring on your trip. For guests staying at our lake cabin rentals (or anyone else who needs a few items), we offer an assortment of grocery staples including bread, milk, orange juice, plastic bags, and eggs. Upon arrival at Seagull Outfitters, we will discuss your trip itinerary in great detail and will answer all of your questions as your store counter before we direct you outside to the appropriate area.
At the right you’ll see the room behind the scenes where our staff packs all of your gear and food if you’re getting a complete canoe outfitting package from Seagull Canoe Outfitters. We pack only the finest food, gear and equipment, to ensure that your trip is enjoyable and worry-free.
The photo at the far right shows another view of the packing room. Here, you can see the Duluth Packs we use to carry your gear and food, as well as some of our sleeping bags and tents.

This is the outside of our paddlers lodge, where paddlers can stay before they embark on their wilderness journeys. The lodge is nestled in the pine trees atop a large rock outcropping across from our store. It has 8 private rooms, with 8 bunks in each room. We never place unrelated groups together in a single room, so your privacy is ensured.
