Staying in our modern paddlers lodge puts you closer to your departure point on the morning that you plan to start your paddling trip, and also gives you a place to stay the evening you come off the water if desired.

Debbie:
Thanks to you and your enthusiastic staff for providing such great support to my party. Your bunkhouse was a welcome stop both before and after our trip. The tow service to the end of Three Mile Island gave us a real head start on the 1st day’s paddle which placed us in just the right time of the day on Ogish to secure the best campsite I’ve ever had. The tow was definitely worth the price. And yes, the full moon was stunning. The walleye and bass action was outstanding too. Everything, including the weather, came together to provide the one of the best BWCA canoe adventures I’ve had. The souvenir t-shirts and cap will help me remember throughout the year what a beautiful spot in the world you have there to share.

Each private bunkroom has four bunkbeds (eight beds), along with a small refrigerator. If you’ve ordered our Quick Start Breakfast, the refrigerator will already be stocked with your breakfast of fresh fruit, cereal, milk, juice and a yogurt… all you need to do in the morning is get your cup of coffee from the common area outside!

Each group is assigned their own private room; you can see the doors to some of the rooms along the sides of the below photos. In the morning, our staff brings coffee for each party that has signed up for the Quick-Start Breakfast.

Late check-in OKAY 🙂 Just give us a call and we’ll give you directions to the bunkhouse! Come down in the morning to discuss your trip details.

The shower-house is divided into a Men’s and a Women’s area; each area has modern flush toilets and showers with all cedar interior. Many guests comment what a welcome sight the showerhouse is, after coming off a week-long paddle! We also get daily comments on the cleanliness of our facilities.

We are happy to provide a warm shower and bath towels to our canoe/equipment outfitting and towboat launch guests upon their return from the woods. The shower at the end of the trip is arguably one of the best parts!

Sorry, but we do not offer public showers at this time.
