Saganaga Lake Cabins

As you shut your car door behind you and stretch your legs, immediately you're hit with the smell of pine forest and fresh air. The scent of nature is undeniably pure, and within the first minute upon arrival you know exactly why you've made the trip. You've left the office behind; the monotony of the real world will be there when you get back. Your cell phone won't catch a signal, so leave it in the car. This week is your time to drink in the Northwoods' stress remedy consisting of relaxation and nature and just let it cure what ails you.

"In every walk with Nature one receives far more than he seeks." ~John Muir

The calls of the loon echoing across the motionless water while watching the horizon burn red and orange as the sun sets behind the trees is a setting that will soothe the soul. The opportunities during a week for reflection are countless. The opportunity to spend a week in a cabin on history-rich Saganaga Lake will provide you more than you can imagine. One cannot do justice to this experience by putting it in words. It is simply an area in which you'll have to experience for yourself in order to appreciate the full affect.

Saganaga Lake is the deepest natural lake in Minnesota. At over 17,000 acres and a maximum depth of 280 feet, this lake is a fisherman's dream. The miles of shoreline and natual rocky structure will provide you with countless hours of angling if you choose. Our two modern cabins afixed on 5 acres of coveted property in the Saganaga corridor allow us to provide you with the amenities of home, but also the scenery and experiences only found on Saganaga Lake.

The downstairs bedroom has four twin beds. The living room is spacious with a great view down the hill to the lake.

You can get a boat and motor with the cabin or bring your own. The NEW 8 slip private dock is shared only with the guests staying in the Little Sag Cabin. Little Sag Cabin - sleeps 2-3 people - View Floor Plan

[PHOTO: view of the Saganaga corridor]This two to three person cabin on Saganaga Lake provides the best view of the magnificent Sag corridor that can be found on the lake. Little Sag has undergone an interior remodel in 2006. We have replaced the screen porch with large 5'x6' windows and taken out the interior wall between the dining room and the porch. As a result the cabin is more spacious and the view is INCREDIBLE. We have added a small twin bedroom so that the cabin now accommodates 3 persons. In addition it has a brand new kitchen with new countertops and cupboards. We moved the main entrance to the front of the cabin allowing a new vanity in the bathroom with more space. For anyone that has stayed in Little Sag prior to the remodel I think you will like it. We have added new beds, furniture and lighting as well. Come and check it out.

This cabin can offer a wonderful getaway for two to three persons where you can relax and put the real world behind you for a week. The location of this cabin is perfect. There is immediate access to Sag with your shared dock and fish house. And since Saganaga is a trophy walleye lake, you will want to bring your camera.

Boats and motors are available with the cabin, or you can bring your own. We can also arrange a fishing guide for you for a day or two to help get you acquainted with the lake. The Little Sag cabin is spacious for a smaller cabin. All of the modern amenities are provided, you just bring the food. You will be sure to enjoy many an evening watching the sun set from the new living room. It's our own little slice of heaven.
