The scent of nature is undeniably pure, and within the first minute upon arrival you know exactly why you've made the trip. You've left the office behind; the monotony of the real world will be there when you get back. Your cell phone won't catch a signal, so leave it in the car. This week is your time to drink in the Northwoods' stress remedy consisting of relaxation and nature and just let it cure what ails you.
"In every walk with Nature one receives far more than he seeks." ~John Muir
The calls of the loon echoing across the motionless water while watching the horizon burn red and orange as the sun sets behind the trees is a setting that will soothe the soul. The opportunities during a week for reflection are countless. The opportunity to spend a week in a cabin on history-rich Saganaga Lake will provide you more than you can imagine. One cannot do justice to this experience by putting it in words. It is simply an area in which you'll have to experience for yourself in order to appreciate the full affect.
