Customized Trip Planning

At Seagull Canoe Outfitters Debbie and the Seagull staff will help you enjoy the canoe country wilderness by custom designing a canoe trip to suit your needs. A guide is not necessary to enjoy your trip and, in fact, the vast majority of paddlers guide themselves on our trips.

As your outfitters, we will work with you to determine the exact type of trip you are looking for. We use our years of knowledge and experience to help you in trip planning, entry points, packing and other important details.

If you have questions about how an outfitted trip works, visit our page For The First-Timer

There are many entry points to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area and Quetico Provincial Park. We use the information below to help us determine the best entry point for your party.

  • How many days you'll be on the water
  • How many of those days you'd like to be travel days
  • The level of canoeing and camping experience in your party
  • Whether your focus is on fishing, exploring and travel, or both
  • What type of fish you are looking for
  • The time of the season you'll be coming

We can design a trip for anyone and everyone: for beginners, for families, for seniors, for anglers, for photographers, for wildlife observers, or for those wanting a little of everything.

Debbie and the staff have paddled these routes, many times, and will steer you in the best direction...from the start. If you'd like to see a few testimonials from Seagull Outfitters' many satisfied customers, click here!

If you're ready to book your trip and you'd like some guidance on route selection, particularily if this is your first trip, please fill out our Routing Assistance form, and send it along with your reservation. This will give us information we need to recommend the perfect route for you! (Note: this form is for use only by guests who are outfitting through Seagull Outfitters. Sorry, but we can't provide routing assistance for self-outfitted trips.)
